Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Rush County, Kansas. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler The role involves: • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Season and marinate meat on request • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
