Bulldozer operator — Jackson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Jackson County, Georgia. You will work at an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Full-time with occasional weekends.
