You should bring knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required; clean, presentable and friendly at the counter; able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler. Day to day you will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; season and marinate meat on request; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings.
