Join our team: we are hiring a confectioner in Izard County, Arkansas. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. Your main tasks: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Score the top of loaves before baking • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
