D6/D8 dozer operator — Wolverhampton

Vacancy available: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Wolverhampton, England. On the job you will handle: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Refuel the machine and record running hours What we are looking for: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Six days a week, one day off.
