Hand presser — Giwa

Now hiring: we are hiring a hand presser in Giwa, Kaduna State. You will be based in a busy laundry. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment The role involves: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. ₦80,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
