Meat cutter wanted in Holmes County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat cutter in Holmes County, Ohio. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required The role involves: • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts 5+ years on the tools preferred.
