Protective coatings painter — Jackson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Jackson County, Illinois. You will strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer. You should have: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
