Shakeout operator • Barkin Ladi, Plateau State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Barkin Ladi, Plateau State. The role involves check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
