Rough terrain crane operator • Lamar County, Alabama

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Lamar County, Alabama. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. On a typical shift you will grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. Requirements: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
