Ideal candidate: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance The role involves mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds.
