Fusing press operator — Lancaster County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Lancaster County, Nebraska. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. On a typical shift you will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Pay around $19 per hour, based on your experience.
