Trainee butcher • Dutse, Jigawa State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Dutse, Jigawa State. The job is at a halal meat counter. On a typical shift you will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; season and marinate meat on request; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. You should have: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. ₦280,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
