Port container crane operator — Kinney County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Kinney County, Texas. Day to day you will climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. What we are looking for: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Understanding of hand and radio signals Six days a week, one day off.
