We are recruiting: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Rice County, Minnesota. What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day You will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools.
