Crane operator wanted in Pierce County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane operator in Pierce County, Nebraska. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. The role involves: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
