Join our team: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in DeWitt County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding On the job you will handle: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
