We are recruiting: we are hiring a retail butcher in Monroe County, Alabama. What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter The role involves monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; season and marinate meat on request; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
