Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Henry County, Illinois. You will work in a tailoring workshop. On the job you will handle: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
