Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Lee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Lee County, Alabama. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Your main tasks: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production Full-time, day shift.
