Dozer operator wanted in Cherokee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a dozer operator in Cherokee County, Iowa. The job is at a land-clearing site. The role involves cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
