The role involves: • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Six days a week, one day off.
