Pastry baker — Chikun

Join our team: we are hiring a pastry baker in Chikun, Kaduna State. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Score the top of loaves before baking • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing Requirements: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Basic cake decorating and piping skills 2+ years on the tools preferred.
