Abattoir worker — Brown County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Brown County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Full-time with occasional weekends.
