Urgent requirement: port container crane operator (Minnesota)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Traverse County, Minnesota. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone. You should have: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
