Vacancy available: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Daura, Katsina State. The job is at an in-store supermarket bakery. Day to day you will knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough. What we are looking for: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
