Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press.
