Great opportunity: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Limestone County, Texas. The job is on a road construction project. Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems The role involves: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank 6+ years on the tools preferred.
