Tile setter — Biswanath

Join our team: we are hiring a tile setter in Biswanath, Assam. The job is in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter Your main tasks: • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas PF/ESI and paid leave as per norms.
