Formwork carpenter • Pend Oreille County, Washington

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Pend Oreille County, Washington. You will work at a shopfitting company. You should have: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Your main tasks: • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
