Crawler crane operator • Jackson County, Oregon

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Jackson County, Oregon. The job is on a busy construction site. Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of hand and radio signals Full-time, day shift.
