Immediate opening: we are hiring an oven operator in Jackson County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Score the top of loaves before baking • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter Ideal candidate: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • 2+ years' experience as a baker Full-time, day shift.
