Lifting rigger — Biswanath

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Biswanath, Assam. You will work at a container port. Day to day you will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. We are looking for sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles; willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather. Six days a week, one day off.
