Bakery assistant wanted in Greene County

Join our team: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Greene County, Ohio. Day to day you will decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; score the top of loaves before baking. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
