Great opportunity: we are hiring a head baker in Hardeman County, Texas. You will keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls. Requirements: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
