Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Summit County, Utah. You will work in a toolroom. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Day-to-day duties: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
