Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges The role involves run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; write and edit G-code programs at the control; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed.
