Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry operative in Tipton County, Indiana. You will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts.
