Flatlock machine operator — Honolulu County

Now hiring: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Honolulu County, Hawaii. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines 2+ years on the tools preferred.
