Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Day to day you will break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines.
