LGV Class 1 driver — Napa County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Napa County, California. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. Day-to-day duties: • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off Ideal candidate: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
