Rebar fixer — Warji

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Warji, Bauchi State. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day-to-day duties: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
