HSE officer — Kendall County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a HSE officer in Kendall County, Illinois. The job is at a manufacturing plant. Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate On a typical shift you will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges.
