You should have: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Day-to-day duties: • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
