Horizontal milling machine operator — Georgetown County

Join our team: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Georgetown County, South Carolina. Day to day you will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Part-time with flexible hours.
