Immediate opening: argon welding operator (North Dakota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Golden Valley County, North Dakota. Your main tasks: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Full-time with occasional weekends.
