Safety inspector — Jackson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety inspector in Jackson County, Arkansas. You will be based at a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift Ideal candidate: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training 3+ years on the tools preferred.
