Finishing presser — Montgomery County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a finishing presser in Montgomery County, Illinois. You will work at a garment factory. You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Day-to-day duties: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
