You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety On a typical shift you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions.
