We are recruiting: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Montgomery County, Indiana. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks The role involves forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser.
